Which vehicle was the most dangerous to be in, in WW2?
General Patton once said, "The two most dangerous weapons the Germans have are our own armored halftrack and jeep. The halftrack because the boys in it go all heroic, thinking they are in a tank. The jeep because we have so many God-awful drivers."
During my Army service I spent years on tanks, and never got hurt. But riding in a Jeep I was thrown out the side, slammed into the windshield, and wrenched around so badly that I could not get out under my own power. And that all happened during one night!
